Core Rulebook
Building on the award-winning Shadowrun, Fourth Edition rule set, Fifth Edition introduces the down-and-dirty Sixth World setting, a place where shadowrunners need to count their bullets carefully and be cautious about whom they trust. Running the Matrix has never been easier, as Shadowrun, Fifth Edition features all the tools and resources players need to quickly get into the game and onto the streets, including improved, streamlined Matrix rules, increased gear options, fast character creation, more player aids, expanded gamemaster advice, and pregenerated gear kits.

After eight years, it's finally time: The fifth edition of Shadowrun will appear. In these quick start rules are the first overviews of rules, mechanisms and innovations - both for professional runners as well as complete newcomers to the system. The book is complemented by detachable character sheets with archetypes, a small game manager screen and the entry-level SR5 adventure Fast Food Fight, with which you can jump right into the game and explore the new shadows.
Shadowrun, fifth edition will not have a time jump in the world, as happened in the fourth edition - therefore all source information is more usable. The rulebook will be released in print in October this year, ready for the SPIEL-messe in Essen.
